Vp/Director, Trade Finance

Our client, a Global Bank, is seeking a Vice President / Director to join their Trade Finance team.In this role, you will be responsible for a portfolio of customers based in Spain & Portugal.As an integral part of the European Trade Finance team, this person will be tasked with providing exceptional account management services to a portfolio of Investment Grade Corporate Banking Customers (based in Spain & Portugal) involving a range of sophisticated solutions. As well as improving the share of wallet from your existing clients, you will also play an active part in the identification and business development of new-to-trade and new-to-bank clients. You will use your advanced financial/credit assessment skills in an effort to expand the profitability of your client portfolio through delivering new and innovative solutions whilst continuously improving customer satisfaction.Minimum 7 years' experience in a similar position in Trade Finance within a similar banking environment with a detailed understanding of banking debt products.Some experience working with Supply Chain / Receivables FinanceSound financial analysis and credit assessment skills and experience in preparing term sheetsBe a team player but with the behavioural skills to work autonomously.Fluency in Spanish & EnglishThis is an unmatched opportunity in the market for a trade finance professional to take a significant step forward in their banking career, offering career advancement options in the future.
