Scopely is looking for a VP of Creative for our in-house Creative Agency (Flamed) to join our team in Barcelona on an in-person / hybrid basis.

We are the in-house creative agency, Flamed, an International multidisciplinary team. We build thousands of creatives every year to support all Scopely games Marketing needs worldwide.
What You Will Do:
As the VP of Creative, you will co-lead our internal marketing agency, Flamed, and set the creative strategy that defines our brand presence, improves our ROAS and drives player and community engagement.
Lead the creation of the holistic creative strategy for Flamed at Scopely. You will research, define, and articulate the best path and plan to achieve our creative goals. This includes:
Developing creative frameworks to improve our ability to generate 'breakthrough' ads!
Developing a cutting-edge creative strategy that integrates with our marketing initiatives across various channels.
Leading the definition and evolution of the overall creative marketing strategy for our games and products.
Incorporating best available creative trends, competitor analysis, and consumer insights research to continuously level up our creative efforts.
Manage and inspire a multidisciplinary team of creative professionals, including designers, artists, animators, producers, and more, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Partner closely with product teams, data analysts, and marketing leaders to ensure creative initiatives are aligned with our strategic pillars, product roadmaps and data-driven insights.
Develop strong community engagement programs for our creative efforts, building and nurturing a community that aligns with our brand values and resonates with our players.
Drive excellence in brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials and touchpoints.
Manage executive communications for all creative and marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and delivering impactful results.
What We're Looking For:
This role requires someone who can bring together the art and science of modern-day creative marketing, with the ability to innovate and inspire through compelling visual and narrative storytelling.
10-12+ years of experience leading and running creative teams for successful brands, preferably at a successful marketing agency, with knowledge of the gaming or entertainment industry.
Proven experience delivering ground-breaking campaigns that have a material impact on marketing performance (ROAS).
Ability to adapt and evolve creative strategies based on market trends, consumer behavior, and business goals.
A passion for gaming and mobile entertainment, with a deep understanding of gaming culture and player motivations.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in building and motivating high-performing creative teams.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively across functions and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in managing creative budgets and resources effectively, optimizing ROI while maintaining high creative standards.
Bonus Points:
Previous experience and success in launching creative campaigns for new products or game titles.
Global experience - You've adapted and optimized creative strategies for different markets around the globe.
