About Gartner Digital Markets What we're looking for: We are looking for a VP, Business Analytics to evolve our Analytics function to support the business needs.
Lead our evolving and growing Barcelona COE of analytics and build out India COE.
The VP, Business Analytics is responsible for leading the Central Analytics function across Gartner Digital Markets.
This position will be part of the Digital Markets Extended Senior Leadership Team, reporting directly to the GVP, Strategy, Analytics and Services.
Why you'll want to come to work: Act as a key advisor to the Gartner Digital Markets Senior Leadership team across functions; provide business insights that enable them to make data-driven decisions. Partner with the Senior leadership team to define priorities and align resources required to implement analytics solutions that meet business needs founded on a thorough understanding of our revenue drivers, business unit strategies and objectives, and current and potential future business challenges. Manage senior stakeholders day to day - communicate timeline on key initiatives and review progress made. Serve as an active member of the GDM Extended Senior Leadership Team, working with senior management to devise appropriate solutions to business-critical needs and problems. Lead, motivate, develop, and coach team managers and senior level individual contributors. Expand and continuously improve the team's influence and impact with executives and senior leaders. Deliver key capabilities through reporting and analytics, dashboards, self-serve analytics tools and the successful execution of complex projects while driving continuous improvement in the business analytic capabilities across GDM leadership and Gartner as a whole. Drive the strategic evolution of current analytic capabilities while further expanding advanced analytic, data visualization and machine learning capabilities. What you'll bring to the team: 15+ years progressive business experience, preferably in a strategy, analytics or business consulting role, including 5+ years building and leading teams responsible for strategic analytics and executive reporting. Bachelor's Degree required.
Master's degree is strongly preferred.
Degrees with a concentration in business, finance, economics or other data and analysis related fields preferred. Exceptional leadership, communication skills and proven ability to manage senior stakeholders. Results-oriented leader with excellent business vision and strategic thinking and a proven track record of solving complex problems, thinking creatively and successfully drawing the larger business story out of facts and data. Strong knowledge of general business practices with a proven ability to establish trusted business relationships across business units, gain consensus and drive action from a large, diverse global set of constituents.
