Applications are invited by the University of Alicante President for an open-ended contractual position as a PhD junior researcher to collaborate with the funded line of research "Insect ecophysiology and ecotoxicology". Reference: I-PI 117-24.
Project 3036/2023 funded by the National Parks Self-Governing Body (Spanish Ministry of the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge).

Experience and training related to the tasks listed in the second section of this call and to:Chemical ecology, insect ethology, and pharmacology.TLR-IR, EAG and olfactometry analysis, and analysis of the immune system of insects.Study of the effect of antiparasitics for livestock on biodiversity.Qualification:Undergraduate degree in Biology (Spanish MECES level 2 or EQF level 6) or any other degree with equivalent content.Official Master's degrees (Spanish MECES level 3 or EQF level 7) related to Biology, Chemical Ecology and Ethology.PhD (Spanish MECES level 4 or EQF level 8) in a science-related field.Fourth. Applicants must:
Hold or be in the process of obtaining a PhD degree certificate. Applicants who are not in possession of the degree certificate must provide proof of payment of the diploma issuing fee or submit an academic certificate stating that they have completed all the studies leading to the award of said certificate.Be a Spanish national or be in one of the situations listed in article 57 of Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of 30 October, which approves the revised text of the Act on the Basic Statute of Public Employees (BOE of 31 October).
