Job Description Complex Proposals Management Leader
- Remote Europe
- Excellent package including annual 10% bonus
The Complex Proposals Management Leader will manage the Bid Managers team of 6, and lead complex & large project proposals with a focus on the development of large and complex Project proposals and challenging BOO / DBO opportunities.
In this role, you will: Team leadership and management
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance and support to team members
- Manage HR processes
- Work with EU DoC ITO Leader to build HR forecasts according to expected growth and opportunities pipeline
- Define and implement a development plan for Bid Managers
- Manage individual Bid Managers' training, workload and complex proposals assignmentsProposal development and coordination
- Participate with EU DoC ITO Leader and regional Sales team in the selection of proposals development opportunities, the definition of the commercial strategy and advise on technological and partnership choices to win the deal
- In charge of proposals team assignment to allow competitive and secure proposals development
- Work with the team to ensure availability of supporting resources and performance of proposal development
- Be responsible for costs, quality, deadlines and technical performance
- Ensure regular reporting on proposal development progress, resources allocations and risk management & reviews
- Ensure proposals submissions are on time, and drive the team through the negotiation stepsProcess compliance and improvement
- Promote development and communication of Lessons Learned that could be of use to improve quality in future proposals.Qualifications What skills will you likely have? Masters degree in engineering or similarRelevant experience in sales and commercial positionsBid/Proposal Management experience in international industrial and municipal B2B transactions with a heavy technology or services componentRelevant management experience in matrix organisationKnowledge of the water and waste water industry and its relevant technologies (MBR, UF, EDR, RO, ZLD)Knowledge of international contracting practices in industrial and municipal transactionsFluent in English (oral and written) - able to present complex cases with ease in EnglishAvailability to travel on business as requiredExcellent interpersonal skillsGreat communicatorGood business acumen and executive presence in front of customersExperience in multinational companies and at ease with matrix environments where influence and persuasion become important working toolsOpen-minded, disciplined and used to working in remote global teamsAbility to multi-task and deliver results against demanding customer-driven deadlines.
Proactive, action oriented and used to working against financial targetsAdditional Information
The role may require occasional travel.
