Scope of the Role: The Area Coordinator will be part of the team responsible for delivering a major Data Centre project in Paris. You will report to the Construction Manager who will set specific goals that align with the overall company and project objectives. Your role is primarily to ensure that the project is constructed in accordance with the scope, schedule, and budget as set out in the overall project programme. The Area Coordinator will coordinate and manage all trades within their area. Given the size and complexity of the project, collaboration across all disciplines and forward planning is key to successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities of the Role: Work in conjunction with the entire project team to deliver the scope in a collaborative manner.
Primary driver on the ground implementing weekly and daily work plans; this is a leading role and a critical requirement to drive productivity.
Champion Mercury's Safety implementation on site and at site Safety Leadership meetings.
Champion Mercury's Quality focus on site and implement 'Right First Time'.
Work with all Package Leads, Supervisors, and Subcontractors in your area to ensure that all works are coordinated and executed as per agreed plan.
Advanced planning is an essential activity to ensure all works are coordinated, and that work can be carried out safely and productively.
Produce and issue weekly reports to management.
Adhere to daily and weekly safety reporting requirements.
Provide weekly schedule updates: Planned vs Actual.
Review and implement 4/6 week Pull Plan.
Conduct onsite daily Whiteboard meetings with all subcontract supervisors.
Record, communicate and action constraints.
Highlight all delays/disruptions to planned activities to ensure risks are controlled/mitigated.
