About this project: IT-Programming / Web-Development Open Buenas.
We want to solve duplicities within catalogs exported from various providers, which contain identical products to save space on the server, make the website faster, improve SEO, and avoid product duplicities on Google.
The module must create a unique product record using the EAN of a product to which providers can later be added with the following fields:
Provider Reference: This is used to update the product from that provider with the custom updaters we have functioning.
Product ID: The product will have in the "reference" field the ID of the product already in the store (if it exists) or it will create a new one when it is a new product.
Provider Price: Each provider gives a price, and if we want a product record to have all providers in one record, we also need the price from each of them to compare.
EAN: The EAN provided by the supplier for their product. There are items with diverse EANs, and although we mark a reference EAN for the product, we need each provider to input theirs.
Quantity: The quantity of products provided by each supplier individually. If one provider supplies 3 products and another 4, the quantity will be 3 from one provider and will change to 4 when the other provider's stock is utilized.
