Role Context As a Visual Designer in our team, you will not only support the deployment of digital products and solutions in industrial settings but also play a key role in supporting our communications and content creation strategy.
Your primary responsibility will be transforming complex technical information into compelling visual messages that resonate with our diverse audience and support our marketing and communication efforts.
This includes designing visuals for strategic content for internal and external communication; ensuring alignment with our marketing plans; collaborating with subject matter experts, engineers, marketing team, and other stakeholders. We are a fun and forward-thinking team who is critical in the transformation of traditional heavy industry.

On your typical day you will... Visual Content Creation: Design and produce visually appealing and informative materials, including infographics, diagrams, charts, posters, presentations, videos, and support the creation of written content.
Support Communication and Content Creation: Support the development and execution of content strategies for our internal and external channels that align with our audiences' needs, following marketing plans through the creation of compelling content and social media campaigns.
Technical Language Translation: Work closely with engineers, technical experts, and content creators to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into user-friendly visuals that cater to employees, clients, and stakeholders across different backgrounds.
Branding and Consistency: Ensure all visual materials adhere to the company's brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.
Data Visualization: Present data in a visually compelling manner, enabling stakeholders to grasp trends, patterns, and insights from datasets.
User Experience (UX): Collaborate with Service Designers, UX designers, and Change Leads to enhance the user experience of technical documentation and training materials.
Print and Digital Production: Prepare and optimize designs for both print and digital media, including online platforms and mobile devices.
Collaboration and Feedback: Actively participate in cross-functional teams, accepting feedback, and iterating on designs to improve their effectiveness.
Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging design technologies to bring fresh perspectives to our communication efforts.

Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in visual representation is essential.
Adaptability: Ability to balance primary visual design responsibilities with occasional communication support roles, ensuring continuity of our brand narrative.

Virtual collaboration: Proven ability to work in a virtual team environment across multiple timezones.
Experience & Education Requirements Education: We don't mind as long as you have awesome experience.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Visual Designer, preferably in an industrial or technical environment, with proven capabilities in stakeholder communication, content creation, and effective social media use.
Graphic Design Tools: Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro), and Figma.
