RoleAs a Visual Development Artist, your mission is to craft visually stunning and imaginative designs that shape the aesthetic and creative identity of our mobile games. You will be agile in bringing characters, environments, and game worlds to life, ensuring they match with our audience and align with the studio's vision for engaging, high-quality gameplay experiences.
Develop unique and appealing designs that reflect the studio's signature style, with a focus on casual and midcore aesthetics.Collaborate closely with the art director to develop mood boards, character designs, and style guides.Translate concept art into production-ready assets for use in 2D and 3D pipelines, ensuring they meet technical and artistic requirements.Work cross-functionally with animators, environment artists, and UI/UX designers to maintain consistency and quality across the game.Tackle challenges in art production, adapting to feedback and iterating quickly to achieve optimal results.Innovate and experiment with visual styles and techniques to keep the studio's projects fresh and competitive.ProfileExpertise in creating stylized and visually appealing characters, environments, and props.Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).Proficiency in Blender, ZBrush, or similar 3D modelling tools.Experience in crafting concept art that aligns with game mechanics and themes.Ability to create colour keys and paint overs to define a unique style from the Art Director.Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams, including designers, animators, and developers.Nice to haveExperience creating promotional artwork, key art, or assets for game marketing and branding campaigns.Ability to create story-driven visuals and layouts that enhance narrative engagement.Experience working on diverse game genres beyond match-3, such as RPGs, casual adventure, or multiplayer experiences.
