UX/UI Designer Job Description
Important note: Job is on location. Hybrid system ( we work some day at the office , some days at home). The candidate will be ready to move to Gran Canaria in case is interested in the opportunity. Please do not apply if you are not willing to move.

At Ken Tech we are expanding our design team. We are an agile software development company specializing in i Gaming, Real Money Gaming (RMG), and Fin Tech led by a team of great professionals in the technology sector. Help us to continue redefining and leading this exciting industry.
We are looking for a creative and motivated person with attention to detail and clean user interfaces. A user experience and interface designer who will enable us to develop end-to-end intuitive user interfaces that allow us to connect with the product's goals and its users. Everything from creating user flows, low-fidelity visual concept design to high-fidelity interactive prototypes for presentation. Providing clear documentation for development teams to help them implement the solutions proposed in the code.
During your day-to-day work, you will be in contact with the engineering team, designers, industry partners, and clients. You will play a key role in developing functionality for mobile and desktop applications while applying best practices throughout the product.
Essential Job Duties
· Analyse Design Requests: Collaborate closely with all parties involved in the creation of the products — designers, engineers, and managers — to fully understand the requirements described in the work orders, understanding the technical constraints, analyzing the current state of the products, and making time estimations based on that information.
· Help the User Researcher: Prioritize the user data in user research and run usability tests to check how the design proposals work.
· Define User Experience solutions: Analyse the competitors, define user personas, user journeys, information architecture, interaction design, user flow, and site maps.
· Create Wireframes and Prototypes: Develop low and high-fidelity wireframes to visualize design concepts, user flows, and transitions between screens.
· Design User Interfaces: Create clear, intuitive, and consistent interfaces for website apps and native mobile applications. Understand visual hierarchy to use typography, color and other visual elements to guide users' attention and improve information architecture. Also taking into consideration the industry-standard interaction patterns.
· Ensure Responsive Design: Design interfaces that adapt seamlessly across various devices, screen sizes, and text translations.
· Present Designs: Defend the design proposals supported with founded arguments.
· Develop Design Systems: Establish and maintain consistent design assets, components, patterns, and guidelines across products.
· Collaborate with Developers: Work with the development team to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
· Stay Current with Design Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
· At least 2 years of experience in user interface design and in UX concept design, comfortable providing wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
· Solid portfolio of recent relevant work.
· Ability to recognize design problems and formulate a range of possible solutions to solve the problem in a way that is intuitive and understandable to the user.
· Particular sensitivity to user-system interaction.
· Strong understanding of user-centered design and user experience and interface design principles.
· Expertise with design tools such as Figma.
· Experience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence system.
· Adaptability to the processes of agile methodologies in the company.
· Up to date with the latest trends, techniques and technologies, but with the ability to design around trends rather than follow them.
· Proficiency in English.
· Experience with graphic design or artistic background will be nice to have.
· Experience with feature phones' implementations will be nice to have.
· Availability for business travel.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Related bachelor's or master's degree and 2+ years of proven experience.
