Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. 5+ years of commercial video production experience. Professional experience in a high volume, production in studio or on location. Strong film and photographic lighting and compositional skills. Proficient working knowledge of video capture, editing and audio software, including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Mocha, Photoshop, and Color Grading. Skill sets required: Motion Tracking, Keying, Rotoscopy, Match moving, Color Correction, Typography. Working knowledge of video production processes. Proven project management skills. Proficient working knowledge of Mac and PC computing platforms, including Microsoft Office. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to continuously manage multiple high priority tasks. Self-driven and able to easily communicate creative ideas and collaborate in a team environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with management and outside vendors. Proactive problem solving--both technically and creatively--with constant attention to process improvement. Ability to work independently and collaborate creatively. Job Summary: Reporting to the Creative Manager while working closely with internal business teams and category teams, you will start with the customer in mind and understand the powerful role that video content can play in supporting business goals and creating an engaging customer journey. You will develop new resources for video projects and motivate your creative teammates to encourage fresh thinking and new approaches to video.
Key Job Responsibilities: Film, edit, direct, and/or produce a wide variety of video content. Create own-brand videos to shape the look and feel of the Amazon Style Guide. Create/Modify/Update working Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for video production. Maintain all video and photography equipment and make suggestions for updating and upgrading existing gear. Provide training and coaching to team members. Interface with retail and other internal partners as required. Assist in estimating project timelines, staffing requirements, and scheduling needs. Contribute to/Lead regional and global video initiatives. Pilot new video formats in collaboration with the Customer Experience (CX) team and studio creatives. Partner with key program members to identify opportunities and drive efficiencies by way of continuous process improvement, technology, and automation. Foster an environment of multidisciplinary collaboration and creative problem-solving. Expert working knowledge of video capture, editing and audio software. Expert project management/video production skills. Industry level director of photography experience. Ability to create, present and execute against storyboard. Familiarity with how video is consumed on social media platforms. Experience working in a metrics/productivity-based environment.
