This is what has driven our teams since 1833.Since that time, we have developed to become a critical partner in the global aviation industry, delivering time-critical logistics services at over 290 locations in 65 countries, across 6 continents.But at the heart of our business is our people.Role PurposeThe role is part of the South European Leadership Team and is primarily responsible for the detailed performance and day-to-day leadership and management of operations across France, Italy and Cyprus, coupled with our easyJet account in France, Spain and Italy.This role can be based in either Barcelona, Madrid, Palma De Mallorca, Alicante, Malaga, Nice or Milan.What you will be doingNumber one focus of delivering safe and secure operations for our customer and our people, working within our global safety, security and compliance framework.Lead the delivery of the best customer-focused operations through engaging our teams, utilising key performance metric data, embracing new and innovative technology.Work with central support teams to ensure new systems and processes are successfully implemented and embedded, delivering forecast efficiencies and improved performance.Provide clear leadership to the Operational team through direction and effective coaching to drive performance and achieve financial, operational and customer service targets and employee engagement.Take ownership of the P&L, ensuring the business delivers financial performance inline or exceeding budget, monitoring all costs and ensuring sound financial decisions are taken.Safety, Security, Wellbeing and Compliance:You will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information, training, and workplace health and safety rules or procedures.

As such, the Company prohibits such misuse and carries out regular testing to enforce our Substance Misuse Policy.What we are looking forExtensive experience and knowledge of aviation services, ideally encompassing ramp and passenger handling operations.Proven track record in financial and commercial management, including comprehensive knowledge of financial practices and direct P&L responsibility.Exceptional leadership abilities with a strong focus on people management, team development, and fostering a collaborative workplace culture.Experience of nurturing business development opportunities within the Southern Europe aviation market.Demonstrated experience in engaging and liaising with senior personnel from airlines, airports, and other key stakeholders.Solid understanding of the IATA Standard Ground Handling Agreement and its practical applications
