.It takes the brightest minds to be a technology leader. It takes imagination to create green energy for the generations to come. At Siemens Gamesa we make real what matters, join our global team. Position Overview The scope of the role is to apply predictive maintenance procedures to the wind farms managed by Siemens Gamesa by monitoring the origin of emerging drivetrain issue/s and by providing vibration monitoring predictive services to make early detection of possible failures in the main components of wind turbines and consequently optimize the maintenance. Relocation will not be offered for this role. Job Responsibilities 1. Monitor SGRE wind turbines and accountable for two main failure indicators: mainly by vibration and oil analysis 2. Responsible for actions associated with this monitoring, this mainly includes: Collection of data from wind turbines under warranty and under SGRE O&M and maintenance responsibility Analysis of collected information Creating reports with (preventive) actions Monitoring of recommended actions; Support local maintenance personnel on TCM, SMP issues, SMP-8C/12C and/or malfunctioning monitoring units; Ensure adequate training and knowledge sharing within the SMP CC team. Ensure continuous training in the services offered by SMP CC. Ensure the maintenance of SMP Control Center procedure. Assist in coordinating the work of the SMP CC with the rest of the company. Ensure correct and adequate support of shared service units in SGRE. Ensure all incoming data is analyzed and reported in the time bound period. Carry out a statistical study of the faults found in wind turbines. Be the interlocutor of the SMP CC with the Engineering Department for the development of the SMP hardware and software and solving communication problems related to the SMP (SMP-PLC). Technical support to technical analysts (on vibration analysis) Keep the vibration analysis model updated (failure frequencies, wind turbine model, gearbox model, generator model, etc.) 3. Assist in scheduling corrective and preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment: Set priorities according to vibration data analysis, when requested by Ops colleagues 4. Assist in identifying the root cause of problems presented in mechanical equipment: Checking the origin of the problem, analyzing its operation, raising possible diagnosis and investigating the operating process, presenting the solution that corrects the problem found in the most viable way in terms of cost, deadline and equipment performance. 5. Propose improvements in the designed process: Verifying the results in time and in qualitative analysis and repair services for components, analyzing possible failures or opportunities for improvement in the workflow, proposing restructuring of the procedure, so that maintenance is in line with reality and expectations of the local customer
