JOB PROFILEJob Title: Sales Associate
Responsible to: Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager
Division: Retail
MAIN JOB OBJECTIVEAchieve sales goals and develop lasting client relationships. These initiatives are achieved by providing the highest level of customer service and complying with all company policies, procedures, and directives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIESSales GenerationMeet sales goalsUtilize the elevated levels of sales and service to maximize sales performanceDemonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the merchandiseAfter closing a sale, monitor all details including: shipping, alterations (if applicable), and special requests to ensure customer satisfactionComply with all sales-related policies and proceduresMaintain a keen interest in the fashion industry and market trendsCustomer ServiceProvide the highest level of customer serviceBuild and maintain repeat clientele; utilize client bookResolve all client problems and complaints quickly and effectively, ensuring client satisfactionOperationsKeep selling floor and merchandise neat, organized, and stockedAssist in the maintenance of all inventory in the stockroom and on the selling floorAssist in all areas of stock, shipping, receiving protocol/policies, and all shipping/receiving related paperwork.Participate in inventoriesComply with all Point-of-Sale policies and proceduresProperly execute all relevant register functionsAdhere to work schedule, inclusive of time and attendanceParticipate in all relevant training and development seminars, programs, and meetings as directed by store managementREQUIREMENTSExperience in retail and luxuryAble to work as a team memberExcellent personal organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracyAble to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environmentAble to work on different tasks easily – Multi-taskingAt Capri, we are all responsible for creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
