Main Purpose of Role: As a strategic leader of the largest region with Hasbro, this role will lead DC management, D2C expansion and management, vendor management, and transportation management.
Manage 3 consolidated freight stations across Asia and a 3PL booking agent across 3 regions.
Manage total annual spend of over $50M within Asia Pacific for the domestic channel.
Enable operational service excellence, and continuously improve third-party freight and logistics partnerships.
Drive effective communication processes providing increasingly accurate shipment forecasts for internal and external customers to meet required customer requirements.
Specific Responsibilities/Tasks: This role will be responsible for developing integrated plans and KPIs to monitor performance and ensuring uninterrupted order supply to meet internal and external customer demands.
It will provide leadership and direction to all strategic Supply Chain initiatives, implement policies, best practices, compliance reporting, and financial tracking across the business.
The position will be responsible for directing warehouse operations including transportation, maintenance, and order management according to company policies and procedures.
It analyses existing processes and proposes improvements to control costs and enhance customer satisfaction while delivering logistics solutions and operations for our Asia Pacific Region.
The Director of Inbound Logistics will inspire and lead efforts to deliver sound operating results; exceed customer expectations, optimize spend, deliver innovation, and build a talented team.
Strategy/Continuous Improvement: Identify, pursue, and document cost-saving or operational improvement opportunities and initiatives through the global supply chain that can be implemented within the next two years.
Establish strategies to improve customer service levels across the region by establishing proper controls leading to cost effectiveness and providing savings to the organization.
Manage our Customer Compliance Program and delivery of performance at the highest levels by maintaining strong relationships with our customers.
