Qualifications Education: Current enrollment in an accredited College/University is required.Candidates must have completed at least 1 year of graduate school either in the Master or PhD in Statistical Sciences/Biostatistics or related fields program.A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required. Requirements: Intermediate knowledge of SAS and/or R.Open to learn new statistical skills and ready to think out-of-the-box for problem-solving solutions.Proficient in English, both in verbal and written language.Able to work well both individually and as part of a collaborative team.Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.G., H1-B status) now or in the future.Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the internship period. Preferred: Candidates at the end of their PhD program are desirable.Experience with statistical graphical displays and simulation using SAS and/or R is a plus.Previous experience in the biostatistics field. Key Activities Learn about the medical devices industry through open conversations with senior company leaders and shadowing of senior statisticians. Exposure to different statistical aspects related to analysis of clinical trials data, marketing efforts, and literature data
