We are leaders on digital technology services, and we provide large-scale technologic solutions to big companies.What are we looking for?We are looking for a SRE Engineer working close to one of our main clients.Main tasks and accountabilities will be:You will be a key member of a team that leverages software and system engineering practices to build and run distributed, highly reliable systems at scale within AWS.Working with engineering team, you will define and drive initiatives to strive for operational excellence and best practice within observability, availability, resilience, and service uptime.You will have a code-first mindset to build tools and automation that remove repetitive tasks with an endeavor for self-healing services.Manage in-house developed production services by improved observability on system health.Improve reliability, quality, and compliance of services deployed within AWS.Develop automation techniques to simplify repetitive tasks and explore opportunities to self-heal.Define, implement and meet with well-defined service level objectives.Manage cadence for delivery against system reliability with well-defined service level objectives.Participate in system design, platform management and service reviews.Willingness to be part of a 24/7 on-call rota (appropriately remunerated).What UST expects from you?Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field involving software/systems engineering, or equivalent practical experience.+4 years of experience as SRE, DevOps, Cloud Engineer, or similar position in Cloud.Experience in Cloud architecture and adoption patterns (AWS is most relevant but experiences in Azure, GCP or other cloud providers are useful as well).Experience with the development workflow using tools like IDEs, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Artifact Registry, and cloud resources.Strong experience with containers and orchestrators such as Docker and Kubernetes.Good knowledge of distributed systems at backend with a proven track record in Performance, Scalability, and Resiliency.Experience with monitoring, alerting and notifications (NewRelic, Grafana, AppDynamics, Datadog, Logz.Io) with demonstrable observability implementations.Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum and Jira tool).Good English level (B2-C1).Valuable and desirable:Being entitled of Disability Certificate (at least 33% score).Work Location100% remote from Spain.Work scheduleBusiness Hours.
