Reporting to the Director Vendor Management, the Team Coordinator will be a pivotal team player, providing comprehensive support across a variety of areas, including project allocation, customer onboarding, linguist quality management, and linguistic team creation. This role is crucial in identifying potential issues and coaching junior team members to ensure optimal performance. The ideal candidate is adept at client interaction, enjoys team leadership, has a keen attention to detail, and is committed to continuous learning and exceeding expectations. Location: Madrid or Seville
Working scheme: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days at home)
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Negotiate rates with suitable talented vendors and update database with accurate information in a timely mannerWork closely and diligently with Project Management, Operations and Business Development teams to support recruitment needsDetermine resource requirements and optimal cost structure based on objectives and operational needsMonitor resource performance and provide feedback where requiredRecruit and allocate vendors for projects based on client criteriaIdentify resource gaps and proactively recruit subject matter specialists to expand our talent poolConduct regular key account reviews with PMs to ensure availability and retention of key resources at competitive ratesProvide timely KPI reportsProactively lead the identification of any potential issues and resolve and close identified gapsActively participate in and support business development efforts and client meetings as well as other departmentsOwnership and maintenance of corresponding Vendor Management processesParticipate in mentoring or training of junior colleaguesSupport Director and other Team Coordinators in daily team managementQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE University degree in relevant discipline (translation, languages) or equivalent experienceFluent English and ideally one other language, both spoken and written, are preferred for this position4+ years of Vendor Management experiencePeople management experience preferredExperience with market research clients preferredSKILLS Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to adapt to a rapidly changing and growing businessStrong IT skills, advanced knowledge of CAT tools and understanding of MTEffective communication skills including presentation/meeting facilitationAbility to take initiative in resolving queries/issuesResponsibility and accountability in client-facing situationsOutstanding time management and organizational skillsProactive and flexible team playerToppan Digital Language is committed to equality in employment and is able to consider any necessary adjustments during the recruitment process.
