.A Brief Intro About us - Click HereYou will be working with the Application Engineering Team in Bengaluru. This team runs on a hustle mindset with an objective to increase Exponent Energy's market share in the city of Bengaluru and beyond and help more people adapt to 15-minute rapid charging technology achieved by our Flexible Energy Stack, which consists of the epack (battery pack) and epump (charging station). Our philosophy:Break. Break stuff. Break assumptions. Break the thumb rule.Believe. Believe in the team. Believe in the process. Believe through failures.Build. Build fast. Build passionately. Build to simplify.Roles & Responsibilities:Work with OEMs to understand requirements and define system architecture, focusing on electrical and electronic systems.Define Electrical Sub-System Requirements: Break down system-level requirements into sub-system requirements.Work with the OEMs and with individual sub-system owners till the end of production. Do whatever is needed to get there.Lead the integration of Exponent's products in OEM vehicles, ensuring seamless hardware/software interaction.Plan and Execute Electrical Testing: Oversee integration and testing of systems, establish test standards, and ensure compliance with automotive standards.Run integration FMEA, particularly focusing on electrical failures, plan EVTs, and prepare comprehensive reports.Manage Documentation: Plan and execute documentation closures, ensuring all electrical specifications are met.Collaborate with OEMs to provide sustenance in the field, troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues as they arise.Raise and Resolve Electrical Bugs: Identify, prioritize, and resolve electrical and electronics-related bugs, working closely with relevant sub-systems.Ensure the product meets all specified performance, safety, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate requires:Strong electrical engineering background with a focus on automotive or EV systems.Good experience working on electrical hardware, firmware, and software integration.Hands-on experience with EV electrical systems, including power electronics, battery management systems, and charging infrastructure.Deep understanding of automotive electrical technology, including wiring, sensors, and control units.Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.Knowledge of thermal management pertaining to electrical systems (e.G., cooling of power electronics).Familiarity with automotive standards for electrical systems and components.A proactive attitude with a passion for continuous learning and adaptation in the fast-evolving electrical and EV industry. What matters:3 to 5 years of relevant experience.Quality of work.Approach towards problem-solving.Dissatisfaction with mediocre work.Resilient attitude to bounce back after failing.Calmness under all situations considering that candidate will be front face with OEM.About UsExponent simplifies energy for EVs
