The position is permanent and can be based anywhere in Europe/EU. You need to be open to travelling at least 50% of the time, and sometimes required to spend longer periods up to 4 to 6 weeks at a client site; especially during the delivery of critical on-site activity.What you will doYour role as a Project Director will be crucial for efficient communication and continuous alignment with all key stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure successful and timely execution of complex Capital Equipment Projects – these projects contribute to overall profitability and ensure client satisfaction.Main responsibilities:Be responsible for managing and optimising Financial Performance.Deliver overall Project Leadership and execution to agreed time and budget deliverables.Design and deliver the project scope according to project agreement.Drive productivity through utilisation of global processes and tools, and ensure project governance and risk management.Manage scope changes and issue Variation Orders.Secure project communication and documentation according to plan.Ensure application of Best Practices and lessons learned, providing input to improvement or development of processes and tools.Manage a safe working environment for all.We believe you have:A bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Chemical Engineering, Food Science or similar discipline; or equivalent skills and experience.PMP certification, or the motivation to attain the PMP certification is required.At least 5-8 years' Project Management experience.Proven expertise with Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project; SAP; Basic AutoCAD Skills.Very good command of written and spoken English language.Some knowledge of dairy, beverage, cheese, and/or powder processing.You are a person that gets energized by making things happen. You are an experienced leader and an excellent communicator with very good negotiation skills and the capability to manoeuvre through political and cultural situations in an effective way.
