We are currently looking to incorporate a Talent Community Cloud Architect in our Infrastructure team.
Role OverviewAs a Cloud Architect, you will contribute to or lead critical infrastructure projects. You will work with internal colleagues and global and offshore resources to manage one or more workstreams and ensure consistent, on-time solution delivery. You will stay up to date on infrastructure best practices and help Avanade continuously improve its technology and practices.
ResponsibilitiesContribute to infrastructure planning, design, implementation and testing, as well as to DevOps activities and standards.Design architecture of a solution to be proposed to the customer.Lead fluent verbal and written communication with customers, showing the value and relevance of your solution to their business.Evaluate and assist with infrastructure designs and new technology releases.Oversee migration to latest Microsoft systems and technologies, assessing the impact and risk of changes to production systems.Create tools and guides for repeatable server builds and deployments.Lead test efforts to troubleshoot and resolve system and service failures.TechnologiesStrong skills in Azure networking: Virtual Networks, Gateways, Load Balancers, Express Route, Private Link, VPN, Front Door.Strong skills in Azure migrations for both, Lift & Shift and rehost/refactor strategies. Familiarity with Azure Migrate is expected.Governance in Azure via Policy, RBAC, Locks and Cost Management.Azure security services in all domains: identity (Azure AD), networking (NSG, ASG, Private Link, WAF, DoS protection), encryption (Encryption, Key Vault), SIEM (Sentinel).Infrastructure as Code via Azure Resource Manager or Terraform.Windows Server AND GNU/Linux system administrator skills.Scripting skills with PowerShell or GNU bash.Desired technology skillsDocker Engine and Kubernetes, extending it to Azure Kubernetes Service and Azure Container Instances.Azure DevOps.Git or other version control system.Configuration Management systems such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef or PowerShell DSC.Key non-technical skillsExperience working with global teams.Strong written and spoken English skills.Education (Nice to have)Technical Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, any kind of Engineering or Maths.Microsoft Azure certifications will be positively valued.CKA or CKAD Kubernetes certifications will be positively valued.What benefits are there working for Avanade?Flexible working hours to be able to obtain work-life balance.Participation in important projects for top clients at a national and international level.An attractive remuneration package made up of annual gross salary and a corporate benefits program which includes flexible retribution.Are you interested?
