As VCN Senior Consultant you will engage in customer-facing work focused on the delivery of VMware by Broadcom fundamentals solutions empowering the Cloud strategy of our customers. These technologies enable the possibility for them to provide the best class of services to their end-users through the stronger and the most powerful Cloud and SDDC solutions of the market.
Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?Lead use case implementation of NSX-T solutions and use cases (federation, DR, Intelligence, NSX V to T migrations, etc.) as well as BGP, L2 Switching, L3 Routing, firewalls, IDS/IPS, GW for boundary segmentation (vlan, etc), DFW for East West segmentation.Effectively work as part of a wider project team or independently act as technical lead on NSX engagements.Identify process gaps and work with the team to address them.Collaborate with team members to build a scalable and efficient model for NSX-T.Take ownership and accountability for individual deliverables.Proactively define project requirements/issues/constraints/risks and address them with PMs.Collaborate within different product workstreams within the team and with Business units, identify current gaps, and find a way to bridge them.Mentor other team members and provide them with technical and consultative guidance as needed.What type of work will you be doing?Perform design workshops, assessment of customer's existing environment, create low-level design documents.Review and validate your and other team members' documents.Drive customer-facing and internal project calls along with project managers and provide technical guidance.Manage customer and internal escalations, collaborate with support and engineering teams as needed.Work with various Business Units for successful execution of projects.Collaborate with the product engineering team to resolve issues faced during project execution.Design, plan and execute the Virtual Cloud Network portfolio.Understand various 3rd party integrations with NSX-T and highlight any interoperability issues.Maintain current, high-level technical knowledge of the entire VMware product portfolio and future product direction and expert-level knowledge of the virtual cloud networking product lines, which include NSX-T, Aria Logs for Networking and HCX.Utilize your VCP (VMware Certified Professional, preferably VCAP/VCIX) and IT Networking certifications.Speak and write Spanish and English fluently.Certification RequirementsCertifications: CCDP, CCNP, CISSP, VCP-NV or similar required. Flexible: The role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working from a local VMware by Broadcom office in Madrid and remote depending on your preferences and the arrangements determined by your manager. You will be expected to live within a reasonable non-daily commute of the office and also be available to travel across the region assigned.
