ISGlobal is accredited with the Severo Ochoa distinction, a seal of excellence of the Spanish Science Ministry.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORISGlobal is looking for a research technician to cover the technical work in a research project on cognitive function and urban environment in the adult population in the framework of the i MAP study Barcelona.
The overarching aim of this study is to examine the extent to which, how, and for whom aspects of the urban environment influence brain health and cognitive health in 600 mid-aged and older (50-79 years) community dwellers living in Barcelona, Spain.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESArranging appointments and interviewing the study participants.Setting up the study devices.Downloading and introducing the data into a dataset.SPECIFIC DUTIESArranging the participant's visits.Preparation of the devices for the study measurements.Interviews with the participants in the ISGlobal offices.Visiting the participants' houses to install a device.Data entry and data transfer.Cleansing, quality control, and documentation of the databases used.Participating in the logistics required by the study.AUXILIARY TASKSThis job description reflects the present requirements of the post but may evolve at any time in the future as duties and responsibilities change and/or develop providing there is appropriate consultation with the post-holder.
