At EVO, we are looking for a Validation and Integration Engineer to join our team. We value people with a passion for teamwork, organized, responsible and decisive. Key Responsibilities: Develop and specify test cases based on system and component requirements. Analyze test bench recordings and vehicle data. Execute manual and automated test cases to validate system performance. Automate test cases using Python. Configure and manage Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) environments. Conduct Restbus simulation and validate communication protocols. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams for debugging and defect resolution. Utilize measurement tools (oscilloscopes, current clamps, etc.) for troubleshooting. Define and maintain test plans and integration test plans. Prepare detailed test reports and ensure traceability in compliance with ASPICE processes. Knowledge Requirements: Mandatory: Expertise in evaluating tests and recordings to establish conclusions. Proficiency in reporting and documenting results comprehensively. Ability to create and manage test plans and integration test plans. Familiarity with automotive protocols: CAN, LIN, SPI, XCP, Ethernet, etc Strong understanding of vehicle architectures and automotive electrical systems. Nice to Have: Standards: ISO 14229 (UDS - Unified Diagnostic Services). ISO 16750 (Electrical Testing Standards). ISO 26262 (Functional Safety). LV124/LV123 (Electrical and Environmental Standards). Exposure to Restbus simulation setups. Knowledge of additional standards like AUTOSAR or other automotive frameworks. Tools Expertise: Mandatory Tools: CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, INCA, ETAS or similar tools. Requirement management tools such as Polarion, DOORS, or equivalent. Nice to Have Tools: Tools for test automation and scripting (e.g., CAPL, Python-based frameworks). Experience with HiL setups like dSPACE, Vector, or NI. Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Automotive/Mechatronic/Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Master's Degree in Automotive Engineering or related fields is highly desirable. Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive systems testing and validation. Desired Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities (English and Spanish). German is highly valuable Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
