Your mission The Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute (IJC) is a non-profit research institute based in Barcelona dedicated to advancing the understanding of leukemia and related disorders, in collaboration with the University of Barcelona and the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
The IJC has laboratories in 6 clinical campuses: i) Hospital Clínic, ii) Hospital de Sant Pau and iii) Hospital Germans Trias Pujol iv) Hospital del Mar v) Hospital Josep Trueta Girona and vi) Hospital Sant Joan de Deu .
IJC serves as a collaborative center for basic researchers and physicians to work together on fundamental clinical and biological aspects of leukemia.

We are looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher with expertise in Biomedical Sciences for the group led by Dr. Tomas Navarro.
Your profile What we need PhD in Biomedical Sciences or similar.
Excellent track record of publications related to haematological cancer, especially in the identification of mechanisms of lymphomagenesis using in vitro and in vivo models.
Experience in the identification and validation of new targets for cancer therapies is required.
Experience in translational research is required.
Experience in epigenetic research is an important plus.
Experience in genetic editing using CRISPR/Cas9 system, shRNA.
Good communication skills in English and capacity to work independently.
Experience in supervising students.
Motivation to achieve a high quality in your work.
