Your mission The Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute (IJC) is a non-profit research institute based in Barcelona dedicated to advancing the understanding of leukemia and related disorders, in collaboration with the University of Barcelona and the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
The IJC has laboratories in 5 clinical campuses: i) Hospital Clínic, ii) Hospital de Sant Pau and iii) Hospital Germans Trias Pujol iv) Hospital del Mar and v) Hospital Josep Trueta Girona.
IJC serves as a collaborative center for basic researchers and physicians to work together on fundamental clinical and biological aspects of leukemia.

IJC Campus ICO-GTIP (Badalona) is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher with expertise in Bioinformatics and Immunity to join the Epigenetics and Immune Disease group led by Dr. Esteban Ballestar.
The researcher will be devoted to the research project 'Dissecting Epigenomic and Transcriptomic Traits in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia with Secondary Immunodeficiencies: Identification of SID-specific features, relationship with Ig replacement therapy and Infections' funded by Grifols.
What we need A high level of motivation and interest.
PhD degree in a relevant area in Biology, Biochemistry, Medicine or related Advanced knowledge on Bioinformatics (single cell and bulk omics methods) Experience and/or clear interest in Immunology research Ability to handle varying workloads and aptitude for teamwork High level of collaborative and communicative skills.
Good level of English speaking and writing skills (required).
Spanish (helpful).
Main responsibilities To lead a research project focusing on generating single cell and bulk omics datasets in patients with leukemia with immune dysregulation Analysis of single cell and bulk omics datasets Analysis of DNA methylation and ChIP-seq datasets Presentation of scientific results, including writing manuscripts Your profile What we need A high level of motivation and interest.
