Your mission The Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute (IJC) is a non-profit research institute based in Barcelona dedicated to advancing the understanding of leukemia and related disorders, in collaboration with the University of Barcelona and the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
The IJC has laboratories in 5 clinical campuses: i) Hospital Clínic, ii) Hospital de Sant Pau and iii) Hospital Germans Trias Pujol iv) Hospital del Mar and v) Hospital Josep Trueta Girona.
IJC serves as a collaborative center for basic researchers and physicians to work together on fundamental clinical and biological aspects of leukemia.

We are seeking a Bioinformatician to support MDS and ALL groups from IJC Can Ruti.
Main responsabilities Analysis of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS): Whole Exome Sequencing, Whole Genome Sequencing y Targeted Deep Sequencing.
Analysis of RNA-seq Support in analysis of single-cell studies.
Statistic Support Wet lab informatics support Web maintenance Your profile BSc degree in Bioinformatics or a related degree Proficient in writing and speaking in English Eager to learn and aptitude for teamwork Organized, flexible, proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic Experience in Python, R, MySQL, SQLite, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP5 Experience in UNIX/LINUX environments Experience in NGS, RNA-seq , CHIP-seq samples analysis Great ability to adapt to new situations, methods, and colleagues.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Proactive attitude with initiative and ability to find solutions.
Strong interest and motivation in biomedical research.
