As a Cloud Engineer in Veepee's data organisation, **you will be part of our data organisation**.
Veepee's data organisation came into existence in 2018 and consists of a strong team of 40-50 data professionals, spread across different data domains (engineering, analytics, data science & ML, and governance).
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary, multinational team that fosters collaboration, transparency, respect, and of course... a good amount of fun in the working environment.
**Responsibilities:**- Collaborate with our data engineers to maintain and optimise our APIs- Work together with data scientists to create workflows for deploying machine learning pipelines and models into production- Help improve the deployment process in a GitOps style- Maintain and monitor the health of microservices deployed on K8s- Configure & maintain GCP services (e.G., Cloud Storage, Bigtable, Cloud SQL, etc.)
with Terraform and Atlantis tooling- Collaborate with developers to optimise GCP usage and create the tools to do so (e.G., cost tracking, staying up to date with security patches)- Educate and support teams in Reliability Engineering practices.
**Requirements:**- You are an **expert in public cloud environments**, preferably the **Google Cloud Platform**.
In the case of AWS or Azure experience, **a strong willingness to learn GCP is a prerequisite**.- You are familiar with **Helm charts** to describe Kubernetes resources.- You are aware of **GitOps workflows** for deploying on Kubernetes, preferably using ArgoCD.- You are familiar with the concept of **Infrastructure As Code** and tools like **Terraform**.- You are familiar with **Git** and **CI/CD tooling**.- You have experience in using **monitoring solutions for logging, metrics collection, and dashboarding** (e.G
