Responsibilities

The VIE will be responsible for assisting the Head of Export Finance Spain and his team in ensuring the commercial coverage of the Export Finance business unit throughout Spain.

This will include :

Drafting credit applications

Preparation of commercial presentations and internal reports

Participation in the drafting of offers, term sheets, letters

Participating in the review of legal documentation in collaboration with external lawyers

Following up Spanish export financing operations and research in the export sector

Follow up the profitability of relationships

Interaction with CESCE, the Spanish export credit agency

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Graduate from Business School / Ecole de Commerce

You are fluent in English and Spanish

You are proficient with Microsoft Office

A first experience in investment banking is required

Experience in an export finance department would be desirable

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Export Finance Madrid is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.
