ResponsibilitiesSociete Generale Securities Services (SGSS) has a Commercial department in Madrid, covering Spain and Portuguese markets. The team consists of a Commercial Director and two Relationship Managers. Its objective is to continue developing the sales activity focused on local players and maintaining an excellent service quality for our non-resident clients. As part of our sales strategy, our goal is provide global custody, cross-border solutions and specific products in order to extend our services, increase our client´s data & market share, NBI and consolidate our local presence in Spain.
The V.I.E. will have the following tasks:
• Perform a detailed Product Market Analysis of the region/product
o Review, analyse and document the Broker Dealer Market in the region
o Review, analyse and document the Wealth Management & Alternative AM market in the region
o Review, analyse and document the Insurance and Pension Fund market in the region
o Review, complete and maintain the list of Tier 2 and Tier 3 Asset Management in the Region and their custody providers
• Support a detailed Product Gap Analysis based in the Market insights acquired and the existing product capabilities within SGSS
o For the Broker Dealer Segment and the Asset Management Segment
• Support SGSS Global Sales Facilitation teams in contributing locally to transversal processes: Sales Plan, mid-year Review, Prospecting Universe definition, deals and meetings follow-up, etc.
Due to the VIE eligibility criteria a questionnaire will be provided. Please make sure to answer all the questions for an efficient analysis of your application.
Please note that for the missions outside the European countries, a VISA is necessary. Please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure. Otherwise, we strongly advise you to launch asap the renewal of your passport.
Profile requiredPLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship. • Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Financial Markets
• A previous experience in a financial environment/banking industry would be appreciated
Language skills:
• Fluent in English and in Spanish (B2-C1)
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
• Proficient/Good command of MS Office
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Client oriented
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Madrid is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
