Relationship Associate / Relationship Analyst

Position to be filled for Corporate Banking Team based in Madrid.
Spanish speaker as mother tongue required.
The Relationship Associate/Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for working with Senior Bankers and coverage team members on the day-to-day management of the Spanish Franchise Corporate Banking client relationships and the delivery of Corporate Banking solutions for Corporate and FI Clients.
The Relationship Associate /Analyst plays a critical role in coordinating across functions and businesses to deliver Citi's global network and solutions to clients and to address a broad range of relationship management requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Corporate Banking team in Spain with the coordination and execution of day-to-day Spanish Corporate and FI Client requests, including credit requests, product related requests, KYC matters, AML queries, problem escalation, information about the Citi global network's capabilities, and new onboarding requests.Support Corporate Banking team in Spain with the coordination and execution of day-to-day credit requests from the GSG Network/Product partners, ensuring that approvals obtained are in line with requirements under the ICG Risk Policy.Prepare facility, exposure, and relationship data as requested by bankers, and coordinate with the GSG network to review global facilities at annual review time.Liaise with client Treasury Team to affirm Head Office support for new credit requests, ensuring required support documentation is lodged with DCU.Assist in the preparation of client Support Discussions, ensuring necessary Business & Risk approvals have been obtained.Ensure credit efficiency of product requirements and manage reporting and controls processes around the product space.Assist Bankers in the coordination of ad-hoc regulatory/data review exercises and help with data clean-up exercises.Assist Bankers with Client Relationship reviews on an annual basis.Work closely with Product Partners, GSG network, and CRMS to ensure timely resolution of data exceptions.Ensure client portfolio has correct marketing hierarchy and legal structure reported in the appropriate systems.Act as an escalation point for Clients on Account and TTS relations items.Work in partnership with TTS Products and provide relevant support, driving completion of projects.Lead product onboarding and maintenance for Banker Solo designated clients.Handle queries on TTS products for Banker Solo designated clients.Work in partnership with Trade Implementations for issuance and associated documentation.Coordinate with Operations to update customer account and/or product structures.Provide support for the coordination of RFPS's.Close coordination with KYC Operations, AML, and ICG Partners on KYC renewal and onboarding processes.Ensure KYC and AML controls are in place for all new client requirements.Share regulatory, market, and product updates with clients.Identify new opportunities for enhancing current structure as well as opportunities for revenue growth.Development ValueThis role will allow an individual to develop a good understanding of our client's organization and treasury functions, as well as a thorough understanding of Citi's Corporate Banking business, its products, risk, and controls.
It will also provide good client-facing exposure when dealing with clients on their BAU credit requests.
