What does a great Product Analyst do? The Product Analyst role sits within the Product organization and supports Product Managers and Product Owners in both product discovery and delivery.
They are a shared resource across an area containing multiple development teams.
The role is a starting point for the Product Manager and Product Owner career paths.
We are hiring a Product Analyst to support our customer digital experience pillar, which delivers key capabilities centered around bringing our tools and capabilities to market and allowing our customers to onboard to the Travelport ecosystem.
Capabilities include Authentication and Identification of our customers, Help and Support, Contracting, and Provisioning (Onboarding).
ResponsibilitiesSupporting the Product Manager in conducting research and discovery to ensure understanding of the market to maximise value for the customer.Collecting requirements for features by collaborating with stakeholders to align the product design and development activities to deliver ROI.Supporting the Product Owner in conducting the detailed analysis required to ensure user stories and acceptance criteria are fit for purpose.Working with Product, Analytics, and development teams to ensure that the success of features can be measured appropriately.Collating, analyzing, and reporting on key product metrics for consumption by a range of stakeholders.What we look for/who would prosper in this role?Degree in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Has basic knowledge of Product Development Life Cycle including Agile methodologies.A fast learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal, written, and attention to detail skills.Experience that would benefit this role:Previous experience working in software development, business analysis, or consulting.Training and knowledge of product management principles, theories, and concepts.As we evolve and grow as a business, so will you.
