Head of Risk of PagoNxt eMoneyCountry: SpainWHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGPagoNxt eMoney is looking for a Head of Risk, based in our Madrid office.
A newly created role, we are looking for an experienced risk professional to help accelerate our next phase of growth.
This role will be a core member of the PagoNxt eMoney leadership team, reporting directly to the General Manager.We need someone like you to help us to:End to end oversight for the Risk function, ensuring ongoing compliance with the regulatory expectations, and alignment with the PagoNxt Risk standards.Evaluate the impact of changes in the regulatory environment, setting in motion projects to adapt the subsidiary to the rules and to regulators' expectations.Implement and maintain our risk management framework including company's risk appetite.Manage relationships and communication with key regulators, ensuring coordination with internal stakeholders.Manage the local embedding of the PagoNxt Risk culture and internal regulation.Identify, assess, measure, and perform continuous monitoring and control of the risk profile of the business and its likely future development.Provide complete and clear information on risks that enables management bodies to understand the global risk profile of the entity.Act as the entity's main representative on risk matters and ensure an effective relationship with PagoNxt HoldCo and other stakeholders.EXPERIENCE10+ years of experience in payments or banking industryExtensive senior risk experience, covering financial and non-financial risks, with demonstrated leadership in building risk frameworksEDUCATIONBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.Masters or MBA preferredRecognized risk professional certification desirable but not a mustSKILLS & KNOWLEDGEA leader with excellent communication skills, the ability to manage internal stakeholders and a hands-on approach when neededCollaborative, pragmatic, hands-on, action-driven and excited about payments business and visionFluent Spanish and English speakerOTHER INFORMATIONIf you want to know more about us, follow us on _#J-18808-Ljbffr
