With these ambitions in mind, we are seeking to enhance our talented team with a Global Head of Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S).Reporting to the Global Head of Operations, this role is accountable for designing and deploying Galderma's EH&S strategy across all Company locations. This position is tasked with management and oversight of existing health, safety, environmental, and sustainability programs as well as implementing a scalable framework to deploy new programs/policies to enhance overall business continuity and site safety.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide vision, management, and technical expertise to set, refine and deliver the strategy and programs to meet unique business needs related to EH&S compliance, risk mitigation/management and safety culture.Demonstrate a relentless investment to EH&S compliance while also broadening our safety culture to encompass overall business, workforce, and environmental sustainability consistent with industry best practices.Translate EH&S strategy into functional objectives and activities and evaluate progress against overall strategic direction.Partner with senior directors and other key stakeholders to identify and utilize sustainability drivers that can enable business growth, reduce costs, mitigate risks.Maintain current knowledge on existing and pending legislation relating to occupational health and injury and ensure that program design reflects the most recent standards and regulations.Chair/oversee safety committee and maintain visibility of the safety program and open lines of communications with all employees regarding safety.Conduct EH&S audits, inspections, hazard assessments and investigations of violations and implement corrective and preventive actions based on findings.Direct the establishment and implementation of effective company-wide employee safety programs, procedures, and ongoing training.Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Science, or technical discipline.Minimum 20 years of experience in direct Environmental, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health and/or Safety exposure in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.Applied knowledge and working comprehension of global/local safety regulations (e.g., OSHA), regulatory compliance, inspections, incident investigations, process safety, contractor safety, EH&S training, hazard reviews and job safety evaluation.Direct EH&S exposure, including steering and influencing organizations.Demonstrated ability to build global teams and establish credibility and rapport in a highly matrixed environment.
