We are seeking a Senior Manager, Local Programming in Spain to be a part of the Prime Video team, reporting to the Prime Video Spain Director. This role will be a critical contributor within the Prime Video Spain organization and will serve as the cornerstone between creative development, content acquisition, production, post, marketing, and publicity to ensure the most customer-obsessed schedule and portfolio for Spain.
Key Job ResponsibilitiesMake recommendations on TV series and movie release dates, plans, and related metrics, track progress, and manage through obstacles to achieve program objectives and audience goals.Translate service- and audience-level priorities into actionable release plans for our growing slate of titles.Conduct analysis of trade-offs, financial impact, and service level metrics to make optimal release schedule recommendations to Leadership.Work cross-functionally with the Global/EU Programming Strategy team to build new ways to understand and model optimizing our content portfolio for our customers across the Spanish market.Execute portfolio and title programming strategy set by leadership across the full content lifecycle, working closely with our local Originals and Licensing teams on highlighting our audience and content needs.Work closely with marketing on recommending audience acquisition and retention goals on a portfolio- and title-level.Scale tools and mechanisms (audience targeting models, portfolio optimization) developed from the central team into other territories while adapting for local needs.Work cross-functionally with Global/EU programming Strategy stakeholders, senior leaders, creative development, content licensing team, research, production, finance, marketing, and legal departments to author business documents and reports to communicate the state of the business or recommend new content business initiatives and support them through execution.Create reporting and dashboards for key metrics to illustrate progress against goals to support team activities and report to management on a weekly/monthly basis.Basic QualificationsMultiple years of experience in consulting, business, finance, marketing, or related fields.Extensive experience leading large-scale programs/projects with high impact.Fluent in Spanish and English.Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; strong experience with modeling and data analysis.Preferred QualificationsA background in Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or equivalent experience is preferred.A passion for content, technology, brands, digital media, and digital video.Expertise in the media/entertainment industry is a plus.Confident leader who can prioritize well and communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, across all levels of the organization with a proven ability to influence others.Exceptional ability to collaborate, earn trust from stakeholders, and work cross-functionally.Demonstrated bias for action with strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.Expertise in Excel, data mining, data analysis, data management, reporting, and SQL queries.We are committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
