Our Graduate Program offers you a unique experience in a global investment bank.
What you will be doing As a Santander CIB Graduate, you will be involved in transactions that make the front page of international media, gaining a well-rounded understanding of the bank's capabilities, as well as exposure to our senior leadership team.
The main tasks will be supporting the day-to-day business.
This would include:
Marketing analysis/preparation (together with relevant product teams)Business case analysisDeal structuringClient coverageValuation and financial modellingOpportunity pitchingCredit application, compilation and submissionLegal documentationClient on-boarding and income verificationLiaising and coordinating our client activities with various geographies and product areasYou will be combining this practical experience with demanding training on both technical and interpersonal skills, helping your all-round development during the program.
Work location Based in Europe (Madrid, London, Frankfurt, Paris, the Netherlands or Milan) or Asia (Hong Kong or Singapore), you will become part of an international business working with teams across different geographies, with the flexibility to travel abroad according to your role requirements.
What we are looking for A recent graduate with good academic records.
Analytical, client-oriented mindset with industry knowledge and a genuine interest in investment banking.
The ability to truly listen to clients and colleagues, talk straight and build lasting relationships.
Capacity to work with a high degree of autonomy.
High proficiency in English.
A highly collaborative approach to work.
Strong Excel and Power Point skills.
CFA Level 1 would be a plus (although not required).
