Description Mission Participate in the intervention in response to emergencies that Doctors of the World is carrying out in Turkey for people affected by the earthquake.
Geographical scope of the intervention Based in Madrid with regular travels to the other chapters of the network.

Main Responsibilities Support the network to enforce compliance with the existing network's standards, rules and processes
Assess mechanisms to enforce compliance with the fundamental documents, propose improvements; Establish a clear internal reporting system with corresponding calendar within the network; Monitor compliance in the implementation of the existing network's standards, rules and processes at chapters and network levels, through regular spot-checks, reviews and field visits; Gather and analyze corresponding data and, based on this analysis, identify vulnerable areas and contribute to define solutions/action plans; Instill a strong culture of compliance by providing sensitization and capacity building on existing network's standards, rules and processes and advice to chapters as needed; Provide feedback on issues of non-compliance, best practices and lessons learned; contribute to improve transparency within the network by regularly reporting, with appropriate tools, synthetized information from assessments and monitoring.Support the network to improve basic standards and rules and ensure their implementation
Lead the work on the definition of a whistleblowing policy and mechanism at network level, aligned with individual chapters policies; Lead the work of revision of the Board-Best Practices and Minimum Standards and corresponding tools; Propose a template and guidance for the risk report to be produced annually at chapter level (BLA); Support the different communities (domestic operations, international operations, fundraising, finance, advocacy, communication) in their efforts to define minimum standards at network level; Support the Governance Committee for all matters related to standards, best practices and rules and compliance; Provide support, where needed, to ensure implementation of newly adopted rules and standards at network and chapters levels.Contribute actively to the network dynamic
Meet regularly with the coordinators of the communities; Participate when required to the meetings or workshops of communities; Participate when required to the meetings of the different network bodies.Knowledge & Qualification Master's degree or equivalent academic background in the field of law, business administration, international development or another relevant field.
Minimum requirements Min 3 years of experience in the humanitarian and/or international development sectors and/or non-profit sector, with direct experience with both programmatic and compliance functions.
Mastery of computer tools (including Excel and Word); Ability and motivation to work in a team; Ability to set up and deliver training; Languages: Fluency in English and Spanish; French an important added value.
