The primary objective of the Security & Loss Prevention Manager is to provide physical security services, plan and execute loss prevention initiatives, and ensure asset protection in the designated area of responsibility.
The SLP Manager assists in mitigating product loss and maintaining customer satisfaction in accordance with Global Security guidelines and policies.
This role is cross-functional and requires effective collaboration with stakeholders from business and corporate functions.
SLP Manager's day-to-day activities involve planning, organizing, coordinating, implementing, and executing processes and procedures laid down by the organization and respective functions.
Responsibilities include: Identifying areas of shrink at the FC, sort center, and delivery station level, including delivery partners.
Identifying potential theft areas and working closely with concerned stakeholders to mitigate the causes of theft.
Optimum utilization of resources to ensure and maintain high quality and timely support to business teams.
Conducting risk assessments for the respective sites and working in accordance with security policies and guidelines.
Independently handling emergency/crisis situations using excellent thought processes and decision-making skills during ambiguous and complex situations.
Responsibilities include: Security operation rationalization, roster, and review of guard force periodically to achieve optimum results.
Training and development of guard force on processes and procedures to be followed.
Implementation and follow-up of security plans.
Review of post site instructions.
Reports: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Half-yearly, and Annual.
Patrolling observations, corrective actions, and follow-ups.
Ensuring YMS and TBS compliance are met.
Ensuring all posts are 4M & 5S compliant.
Audits/Certifications: Keeping the plans and SOPs updated.
Periodic review of documentation as per GSO policy.
Preparation of documents for internal and external audits.
Surprise checks and reports.
5S audits of all frisking points and implementation of suggested points.
Process Improvement & Loss Prevention Program: Process review and necessary improvements.
Quarterly assessment.
Loss prevention report.
Follow-up and completion of CAPA.
Loss prevention audits.
Security System: Ensure 100% serviceability of all systems.
Ensure 100% training of all security guards.
Controlling of access and review of access levels.
Hygiene status report and operational effectiveness of security gadgets.
Preventive maintenance schedule for all security gadgets and improvements.
Monthly business review meeting.
New projects and completion reports.
Daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Daily defect follow-ups.
Reports and follow-ups of near misses, suspected movements, and process violations at production.
Loss Prevention Analysis: Conduct investigations by working closely with business teams and support functions in SLP related areas.
