Reporting to the Regional Training Manager - Spain and Portugal, the Ground Operations Training Supervisor will provide support and guidance to the team of Trainers by supervising the training activities and trainers as well as delivering training when required for the Malaga & Almeria region.The Training Supervisor will work with local management and planners to create a robust training plan to deliver the skills necessary for the operations and monitor its progress and completion.Responsibilities:You will be responsible for the planning and coordination of Ground Operations training within the department or airport.By working closely with Ground Operations Management, you will identify training requirements and provide resolutions.You will ensure that the training paperwork is completed correctly and updated on the EGOS system as well as any local skills tracker.The Training Supervisor will monitor and measure the performance of trainers through our leadership framework, one-to-ones, and informal reviews.You will also complete regular competence checks to ensure we not only meet but also exceed both industry and regulatory standards through Trainers.Maintain an excellent and up-to-date knowledge of company and regulatory operating procedures.Provide suggestions on how to improve the operation, reduce costs, and maximize revenue.Person Specification:Role model behaviors and will be a proven self-starter with extensive experience of training design and delivery on an individual basis and in a classroom environment.With extensive operational experience, you will be familiar with landside regulatory operating procedures.Previous experience of managing teams is required, ideally within a remote training or a landside operational environment.Previous experience of project management would also be beneficial.You will be fluent in Spanish and English.In return, we offer an excellent salary and fantastic opportunities for progression in a growing business.
