Your Role:
The Academic Coordinator will assist the Barcelona team in all aspects of preparing and executing classes and academic activities, ensuring high-quality support throughout. Additionally, the Academic Coordinator will provide guidance and information to students on general academic issues, offer tailored advising and support to students from large university cohorts, and assist the Academics department with various administrative tasks. They will also contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives aimed at enhancing academic programs.
What You'll Do:
Review and maintain consistency of established CEA CAPA academic policies and practices.Provide academic advising to students and assist students with day-to-day requests (IT issues, add/drop period, attendance).Provide specific advising and support to students from large university cohorts.Act as a liaison between faculty and students.Coordinate with faculty, staff, and students on all aspects related to the arrangement of exams for students with special accommodations.Review term syllabi ensuring adherence to template and policies.Assist Academic Coordinators with academic systems management (Apollo, Salesforce, and Canvas).Support and collaborate with academic staff on all administrative tasks and educational projects.Teach language classes in case of faculty absences.Attend welcome and farewell receptions with students, participating in the Student Orientation and arrival tasks.

What Makes a Great Candidate:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish.Authorized to work legally in Spain.Familiar with the Spanish and American university systems.Language teaching experience.Open to new and different teaching methodologies.Previous experience studying or living abroad.Previous experience working with U.S. undergraduate college students (preferred).Enthusiastic about studying abroad and international education.Solid computer abilities (e.g., Microsoft Office) and open to learning new technology.
