Main ResponsibilitiesDeeply knowledgeable in Linux operating systems, including Debian and RHEL distributions.Fine-tuning kernel parameters and proficient in bash scripting and miscellaneous shell tools.Proficient in virtualization technologies such as libvirt and containerization tools like lxc and docker.Expertise in networking protocols including IP, routing (static, OSPF), DNS, VPN, HA technologies (bridging, keepalive), Firewall, and familiarity with Cisco Meraki and BGP.Proficient in configuring and managing web servers like Nginx, Apache, and PHP.Experienced in utilizing monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, and Netdata for infrastructure health and performance monitoring.Familiarity with hardware components including RAID arrays, Dell, and HP servers.Proficient in database administration, particularly with MySQL (MariaDB) and replication technologies (bin-log, galera).Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles including vulnerability management, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and Extended Detection and Response (XDR).Familiarity with other technologies including Redis, Memcache, Supervisord, and Logstash.Create and update technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and user guides to facilitate self-help and improve support efficiency.Manage IT assets including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals, and assist in the procurement process for IT equipment as needed.Collaborate on a variety of IT projects and initiatives as required.Work closely with external support teams and collaborate with the R&D department on technology-related projects.Professional Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience in Linux systems administration and IT infrastructure management.Strong understanding and hands-on experience with the technologies listed above.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders.Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Relevant certifications such as RHCE, CCNA, or equivalent are a plus.Aleph is a place of many cultures, perspectives, and talents.
