Data Center Real Estate Manager (Europe) Responsibilities :Lead real estate efforts to identify, negotiate, and secure high quality sites across multiple countries to support Meta's data center site development objectives in Europe.Lead commercial negotiations and conclude strong agreements with service providers, property owners, economic development agencies, and utility companies.Negotiate letters of intent, land or building purchase agreements, economic development incentives, water and sewer supply, and other site-specific development agreements.Support enablement of attractive options for sourcing recycled water and renewable energy.Partner with internal teams including environment, economic and community development, communications, capacity planning, energy, water, data center design, construction, network engineering, legal, policy, communications, and finance.Formulate and implement strategies for identifying and securing sites, select and frame the best opportunities, and secure senior management approval for recommended transactions.Develop and implement portfolio management metrics and tracking mechanisms.Develop, maintain, and grow trusted relationships with external stakeholders including property developers, investment trusts, co-location owners, country investment agencies, and select community and regional representatives across Europe.Monitor ongoing contractual commitments, and support the expansion of Meta's existing data centers through the extension of existing agreements or the formation of new agreements.Minimum Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Planning or related fields.10+ years experience with site development for data centers or other mission critical facilities or major infrastructure.15+ years experience leading real estate strategy, contract formation, and commercial negotiations.Experience representing business interests to all levels of government, utilities, potential suppliers, and other stakeholders.Experience managing large real estate development projects and coordinating with internal staff, consultants, vendors and external stakeholders.Experience identifying and communicating essential commercial, market and contractual details to all organizational levels to ensure awareness and alignment and support.Experience using Excel and PowerPoint to perform robust analyses, efficiently distill information, and communicate options and recommendations with clarity.Preferred Qualifications :Experienced with all commercial aspects of data center site development.Advanced technical degree, law degree or MBA.#J-18808-Ljbffr
