What you will do:Perform monthly close activities including preparation of journal entries, maintaining account reconciliations and monthly flux analysis.Assist in reconciling subledger to general ledger account balances.Prepare support for quarterly and annual audits, including compilation and preparation of detailed schedules, back-up supports for initial and follow up requests and financial reports.Assets management; Intercompany accounting.Handling external and internal queries via email/phone.Identify and calculate provisions and exceptions to standard bookings.Assist in developing and documenting business processes, procedures, checklists, and policies.Performs other duties as assigned or required.How you will grab our attention:Knowledge and Skills Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business, majoring in Accounting, Finance or a related field.3 to 5 years of combined experience in accounting and GL close process.Strong understanding of local GAAP accounting and financial/operational understanding; US GAAP is a plus.Knowledge and experience working with Oracle ERP is highly desired.Highly developed knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel.Competencies:Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
Working Conditions:Remote Location: This position allows you to work from any location with a stable internet connection. You will need to provide your own suitable workspace and internet access.
