This position will report to the Chapter Lead of User Experience Design & Validation and will work closely with user experience designers and product managers from initial concept and strategy through the execution of design using a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative methods. Design, plan and execute user research studies and analyze behavioral metrics to paint a complete picture of our users to drive design decisions and user experience priorities.As part of the User Experience team, you will work with a creative group in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position requires a proven track record of user research strategy and execution using a deep toolbox of methodologies to explore behavior, workflow and motivations of our users. Come help us design the future!You will be responsibleDetermine research strategy and design, plan and execute research studies.Operate cross-functionally, providing user research expertise and execution across products.Develop appropriate research methodologies and test plans for projects, think of novel approaches that are the best fit for individual projects or areas.Conduct research using a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative methods to generate actionable insights across the product development lifecycle, including upfront generative research to identify new opportunities, iterative concept evaluation and post-launch testing.Conduct internal cross-functional workshops using design-thinking methodologies.Collaborate with product on defining "success" from qualitative and quantitative perspectives to ensure research is focused and closely tied to business goals.Develop a systematic way of collecting and sharing research with project teams. Present, communicate, and distill the insights you've gathered.Inform product strategy and identify new opportunities based on user needs.Communicate and advocate for your findings in a way that will inspire people to act.Drive and recommend proactive broad-based research programs.Work closely with UX designers to make design recommendations based on research results and help drive those recommendations to reality.Work closely with product teams to identify and prioritize research topics.Work with product managers, business owners, and engineering to understand user requirements.Stay current with trends, best practices, and methodologies in areas of UX, user research and behavioral analytics.Present to a variety of audiences from product teams to executive teams.Create holistic summary dashboards at a regular cadence for sharing with management teams.Exhibit a high-level of expertise in driving the data strategy across multiple listening channels (e.g., usage metrics, surveys, usability testing, etc).Accommodate ad hoc requests for metrics to feed into design decisions.Regularly provide design teams with information such as most / least used tools, most often searched terms, where the most time is spent, features engagement/conversion, funnel/pathway analysis, user demographic breakdown, number of users, etc.Your profile8+ years of experience in user research.Deeply skilled and experienced in user research activities across all methodologies including focus groups, ethnography/field research, concept validation, in-lab usability testing, remote usability testing, card sorting, testing on mobile devices, surveys, etc.Analytically minded and very strong in data analysis, knowledge of statistical analysis, experience creating metrics dashboards.High degree of creativity and problem solving from big picture to little details, you move nimbly between strategy and execution.Excellent time-management and the ability to quickly prioritize tasks and work autonomously.Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly and effectively present work to all levels of management - negotiating and influencing to build consensus.Works effectively both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team.A positive attitude, open mind, and a desire to collaborate and learn.Enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and you iterate quickly, incorporating feedback.Experience working in digital healthcare products preferred.Experience working in an agile methodology environment preferred.Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Cognitive Psychology or Experimental Psychology. Advanced degree preferred.LocationsYou will be based in Sant Cugat, Spain.
