col-wideJob Description:

The Internet is broken. Digital consumers (like you and me) have lost control over their personal data stored across the web. On the other hand, businesses struggle with cybercrime, data breaches, and the growing volumes of sensitive personal data they have to manage.
Our mission is to build a better Internet. An Internet where Good Data Brands leverage our No-Code Privacy Platform to build better relationships (based on data transparency and trust) with digital consumers… like you and me !
Want to become part of our mission? Speak to us today!
What's the opportunity? We are an experienced, high-performing, international team focused on building a unique product that might soon have an impact on the evolution of the Internet. We have created an open, friendly and inclusive culture, as well as an environment that encourages our team to discover, collaborate, build (and break) things along the way.
We are building our platform together with experts from leading European ScaleUps, so don't be surprised if you meet privacy, security and engineering heroes ? from some of the most popular internet companies on our Slack channels.
We were born during the pandemic so " remote " is part of who we are, but we also get crazy excited when we meet in our office in sunny ? Valencia. That means you can work from anywhere you want.
What will be my challenges? The core challenge for us in building a modern PrivacyOps platform is simple: How do we design and implement a powerful no-code privacy platform allowing users to build privacy flows and automations in minutes instead of months
How can we empower the user to leverage a cohesive ecosystem of integrations and pre-built tasks so that Query Layer can ensure the privacy of customer data anywhere and anytime irregardless of the data stack?
Ship changes to production in your first week and features in your first month
Building the user experience needed to execute data rights requests and privacy operations across a companies entire data stack
While we're singularly focused on building a modern PrivacyOps platform, it's inevitable that we'll work on an Open Data Rights movement for the future of the internet.
What skills do I need? You have 3+ years of industry front-end development experience, building, running, and debugging web applications using modern JS frameworks (React, etc)
Knowledgeable in the testing pyramid (Unit Tests, Integration Tests, E2E Tests)
Knowledge of backend technologies: REST APIs or GraphQL
Experience in designing, developing and supporting scalable, performant and reliable web applications
You have an ability to collaborate with designers and product managers to come up with high-impact ways of quickly solving our users' problems
AWS experience
An understanding on microservices architecture and principles
You can communicate in English and Spanish
Eligibility to work in Spain.
Knowledge related to Continuous Integration Environments
Relevant programming knowledge in other languages
Take pride in working on projects to successful completion involving a wide variety of technologies and systems
Having built a scalable infrastructure from scratch
Genuine enjoyment of technology and a good understanding of Startup culture
Knowledge of encrypted data flows and encryption of data at rest
Experience in Data Privacy, Security or Governance Projects and Products.
BenefitsA competitive salary package in a fast-growing start-up
Stock Options
Great culture & international work environment
Live and work in sunny Valencia (relocation costs are on us)
Remote friendly
Health insurance with 100% premium covered
Annual company retreat.
