We are currently looking to add a talented and creative UX & Creative Designer to our existing Design & Solutions team. Operating with a hybrid working model, the role will be based from our office in Newcastle upon Tyne in the UK or Alcobendas – Madrid, Spain, depending on your preference, but since we try and operate the company as a single organisation you will typically work with clients and colleagues from across Europe with responsibilities that include:
Participation in the design and development of new solutions working closely with Clients, Product Owners, UX/UI Consultants and Software Developers, to ensure optimum usability, innovation and creative wizardry.Conceptualising and translating creative ideas into design concepts for the front-end user interfaces of our solutions including mobile applications, web interfaces and games.Development and execution of our visual design including our overall brand identity in line with our corporate positioning, strategy and objectives.Supporting our Sales, Client Services & Marketing teams with appropriate graphics, visual imagery and layouts for campaigns, social media, events and brand content including preparation of infographics, presentations, proposals, newsletters, case studies, white papers, web content, photography, animation and video production.We are looking for individuals that colleagues would describe as: Analytical with strong problem-solving and organisational skills, thorough and precise with good attention to detail, able to assimilate multiple requirements and consistently deliver quality work on time.A committed self-starter with a high degree of ownership and accountability and who multitasks effectively, prioritising and resolving issues in a calm and collaborative manner.A great team player with good listening, communication and interpersonal skills and a natural ability to develop trusted relationships with clients and colleagues across Europe.With a strong set of skills and experience:
Comfortable in both written and spoken English AND Spanish (equivalent to at least B2 and preferably C1 level) to ensure effective and seamless interaction with colleagues and clients.A degree (or equivalent) in Creative Design or an appropriate discipline with demonstrable and relevant professional experience including exposure to best practices in digital solution design.Familiarity with User Centred Design (UCD) and Design Thinking principles with excellent artistic and aesthetic criteria including strong graphic composition, digital layout and data visualisation skills.Demonstrable UX/UI Design experience including FIGMA proficiency, Wireframes, Prototyping, User Journeys and Personas. An interest in Gamification would be a bonus.Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office.Experience with video editing software (Premiere Pro and/or After Effects) and multimedia content creation is a plus, as it will contribute to our dynamic and visually engaging projects.Of course, we will also be eager for you to share an exciting portfolio of inspirational and relevant creative work!
