The school is a part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP), a collection of 77 schools across 21 countries with a united focus on how to grow internationally minded students through strategic outstanding practice. St George Madrid operates on a large campus with many new and developing facilities. The school has seen significant growth in recent years, with potential for more.The successful candidate will be an experienced and enthusiastic practitioner, preferably with experience of teaching Mathematics across the secondary phase up to the end of Key Stage 5 (Year 13). We follow the English National Curriculum at Key Stage 3, followed by IGCSE at Key Stage 4 and the IB Diploma programme in our Sixth Form (Key Stage 5). Experience of teaching across this range would be a distinct advantage. We offer Mathematics A&I (SL) and A&A (SL & HL) in the IB Diploma, and there is an expectation that the successful candidate would take at least one of these classes. Training would be provided for teachers who would like to develop to teach the IB Diploma programme so long as they have the mathematical knowledge required at this level.As part of the secondary team, the successful candidate would be expected to assist with developing the school's Mathematics programme working within and as a member of our Mathematics department.
