In alignment with this commitment, the EU Sustainable Shopping team is hiring a Sr Product Manager to work cross-functionally in order to influence customer-facing programs with sustainability customer experience solutions across the customer shopping journey. Amazon Sustainability is looking to hire an analytical, technically skilled, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed leader that can drive innovation and execution in identifying and managing sustainability work throughout Amazon EU.
As a senior member of the Sustainability team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategy with other teams and integrating sustainability into Amazon's business functions in the EU. Key Responsibilities: Maximize the monthly and annual performance of the operation through strong leadership, effective operational performance, and a motivated workforce Execute sustainability strategy; manage the day-to-day business needs on a local as well as a global scale Participate in cross-functional Process and Business Improvement projects within the operation and the broader Amazon EU Retail network Know how to handle periods of change and lead a team through such periods, displaying motivating and encouraging behaviors Participate in EU sustainability strategy development Liaise with other departments and offices to resolve problems when required Experience on customer-facing CX solutions Excellent business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done Willingness to "roll up sleeves and do what needs to get done" to consistently deliver results Well versed in Excel and SQL
