Mission and Main Objectives Main Tasks and Responsibilities For Development Projects:
Plan & deploy activities to support objectives of SOP & SOS with the rest of the organization, complying with quality, time, and cost.
Lead and coordinate different NISSAN areas inside (Test, Design, Calibration, EMS, etc.)
and outside R&D (purchasing, supply chain, etc.)
within Alliance.Coordinate within the Alliance and manage the procurement of material, agreement on technical specifications and quality requirements; report the results of the Nissan projects to the specific milestones of the Project.Be the window of Alliance engines in NISSAN for the areas of vehicle development and productive plants of NISSAN.Propose resource plan for design & development (D&D) to conduct project.Support in the preparation, process, and explanation of the QCT milestones of the project in the official meetings of NISSAN's internal report.Support Function reply preparation for Total Delivered Cost (TdC), Vendor Tooling (VT), and D&D monitoring and reporting at established project milestones (contract, cost monitors, etc.
).Support the preparation and processing of approval documents which allows project flow (Joshins, Planning Papers, GIRENs, etc.
).Plan and coordinate cost reduction ideas to support project cost target achievement.Development projects could be either ICE, HEV, or BEV.For Serial Life Management: Take responsibility for vehicle market maintenance.
Coordinate different R&D areas (Design, Test, Calibration, etc.)
and non-R&D (purchasing, supply chain, etc.
).Quality: Collaborate with the quality department to solve quality market serial life problems.Maintenance: Follow up life cycle vehicle changes and grant introduction as planned.
Conduct introduction of Design Changes Study modifications from Alliance.Take responsibility for Powertrain scope cost management both for TdC and impact (cash).Organization, participation, and support for events inside or outside N R&D (line walks, support to line trials, tear downs, benchmarking, drive events, etc.
).Background, Skills, and Experience: Graduate / Bachelor of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.2-3 years experience preferably in automotive project management in R&D environment.Ability to work in a highly dynamic agile environment working in line with QCD pillars with the ability to withstand pressure and deliver expected output.Ability to identify complex problems, develop and evaluate options, and implement solutions.Be positive, collaborative, and transparent when working with others in a team.
Strong communication skills.Proactive, quick reaction behavior.Willing to travel and do international and national stays.Automotive technical systems knowledge.Excellent knowledge of MS Office with good presentation skills.Fluent in English; fluent Spanish desirable; French and/or Japanese desirable.Location: Barcelona, Spain
