The Moody's Analytics Global Sales Organization is seeking a Relationship Manager to join our Spanish and Portuguese Corporate market team and help us drive the business development of all Moody's Analytics solutions in areas like Credit Risk, Supplier Risk, Compliance / KYC, Corporate Social Responsibility, Master Data Management, and Predictive Analytics.
This role is responsible for managing the full sales lifecycle process of a client account base and a white space, including identifying and initiating new sales opportunities and acting as a point of contact for c-level contacts of corporate client companies.
ResponsibilitiesManage the full lifecycle sales process, which includes identifying and initiating new sales opportunities by prospecting new clients and leveraging existing client relationships, sales presentations, and contract negotiations.Act as the point of contact for c-level contacts at the client company (Chief Risk Officer, Head of Compliance, Chief Procurement Officer, Chief Technology Officer, Head of MDM).
Ensure renewal of a book of existing customers.Ensure complete client coverage by collaborating with product specialists and other client-facing professionals where appropriate.Provide current forecasts and pipeline information to management.Market credit risk, supplier risk, compliance risk, and CSR solutions to the corporate sector.Meet established revenue targets while creating new and enhanced customer relationships ensuring satisfaction.Generate new revenue from research, product, and service solutions and defend & grow existing revenue streams.Work closely with Product Specialists, Product Strategists, Marketing Strategists, and other employees within the organization to leverage their expertise in the sales cycle.Represent the company at industry and company-sponsored events as required.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Sales & Marketing, or a related area required; MBA highly preferred.8-10 years' experience in a sales role within a software/services organization with a successful track record in sales, preferably selling solutions to corporates.Understanding of credit risk, supplier risk, compliance risk, master data management, and CSR within the corporate environment.Ability to sell using a needs/solutions approach.Ability to influence key decision-makers during the full lifecycle of the sales process.Strong presentation and negotiation skills, as well as outstanding client relationship management experience.Strong communication skills, both oral and written.Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions.Ability to multitask and meet short deadlines.Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, with focus and high attention to detail.Required languages: must be fluent in both Spanish and English; Portuguese would also be advantageous.We strive to be a world-class sales organization with our customers' needs at the center of everything we do.
